Seattle-based online retailer Amazon, has launched a web site aimed at Canadian residents.

The new web site - located at http://www.Amazon.ca - will stock a selection of over 1.5 million books, videos, CDs and DVDs, in both English and French. Customer and editorial reviews will also be encouraged by the company in both languages.

The new web site is reportedly the company's first expansion for 18 months.
